ill be visting me cousin soon in the USA, do they have good fish and chips? oh me chaps i love fish an chips!
They call them fries and they are usually the thin types (like the crap you get from McDees). Maybe they have potato wedges which is kinda like our chips.
Got a few decent fish and chip shops here in New Zealand. I heard you guys in England have vinegar in your chips? Is this true?!

Never tried it with chips - but I occasionally have salt and vinegar crisps.
Over here you usually just have tomato sauce and tartare sauce for the fish.

ok first of all, i don't even think youre' British cause all that chip chip chap stuff is too much. i think you're yanking everyone's chain.
but if you actually ARE a Brit and coming to the US (or any other country for that matter), then you should be wanting to know about what's native to the country. otherwise, stay in your own country. it would be like me going to france or something and wanting to know where all the fucking mcdonalds are. its stupid.

Chips(Or fries) here or any other commonwealth country are slightly thicker than the things you get in McDonalds. They are actually healthier due to the fact thinner fries absorb more fat then thicker ones.

Well it's like that for us.
One day I walked into McDonalds (yeah believe it or not we do have them here) and asked for large chips - the dude looked confused so I said "You know what I mean ok". "Yeah" he replied and proceeded to get me chips.
