You apparently do not know very much about how the real world works if you think that all abortions are preventable. Women have been having abortions since the first man laid hands on a woman without her consent.

Yes there are girls and women out there who use it as birth control (which is NOT how it is intended to be used) but no matter what there will always be someone who will misuse anything they can to their own advantage and to heighten their own laziness.

If you have fallopian tubes and a uterus you can have your say over what is done with them and allow other women to have control over their own instead of trying to tell other people what they can and can't do with their bodies.

She can kill the child without his consent. Or unilaterally decide to keep it, in which case the father would be legally responsible for the kid, whether HIS choice was or was not to be a father. See the unfairness? how do you remedy?

I do see the unfairness in that situation but that is an issue that possibly will not be resolved in our lifetimes because of the fact that a woman is the one who gives birth to the child and carries it for 9 months.
I have no clue how it could be made fair unless science somehow figures out how to transplant a baby and a womb into the father if the mother doesn't want it and the father does....it may sound far fetched but organ transplants sounded far fetched 100 years ago. But then you have a father who wants the baby and a mother who doesn't yet the mother would have to pay child support for a baby she didn't want just how a father now has to pay child support for a baby he doesn't want. It's a complicated situation and sadly there are too many people out there who would rather use abortion as a form of birth control instead of using either self control or prevention.

People who get abortions don't consider it a baby the way you may. It even says in the Bible that it's not really a baby until you feel it stir inside of you. I am not a religious person and I'm not pushing religion on you but most people don't know that.
The girls who did it because they didn't know who the father was did it for the wrong reasons. They are the kind of girl who will instead of thinking ahead will wait until after the damage is done and then cry about the repercussions. Those are not the kind of girls that abortion is made legal for and I would never condone a girl getting an abortion for that reason.

I personally would never get an abortion unless being pregnant was life threatening to me or if the baby was positively going to be so physically or mentally damaged that giving it life would only be torturing it. But I'm not about to tell a woman who was brutally raped by 10 men that she has to give birth to the baby that is the result of that rape or put her life in danger by keeping abortion illegal so that she has to go to a butcher to have it done.
Putting limitations on abortions is the only way that we could logically keep people from abusing the system. There are some good reasons to keep abortion legal but there will always be someone there to take advantage of the rights that are given to them because of lack of personal and social responsibility and common sense.

I think it's fucked up that you don't have any compassion for rape victims. Obviously you are male, because no women with half a brain would act like it was nothing to be raped, and then after getting rape finding out you were pregnant. Abortion is a serious controvery in this country as of right now. Even though I would never get an abortion unless of course my life was threatened, and I think it's murder; I think you should just let them take it up with God and butt out. It's not your body, your choice, or you life!
