Topic: Stories that didnt make it onto the main site

No cab it shouldnt make a difference, but I have made sensible stories on the main one which didn't get through, and retarded ones do get through, it's annoying

These stories are off topic on the main site and are discussion topics better left for this forum.

Well I don't see how me asking if I'm normal because I hate my parents complimenting me is more off topic and more of a discussion question than some guy that likes to walk alone, which was approved like half a day ago. Plus I was getting banned when I made that story, why was that? or was it a coincidence that you decided to ban me the same day as I make a serious story. Like I hate it when my parents compliment me, I got banned twice for writing that story.

I get a couple of my stories and cabs NAMGLA one, but I think his other one is pretty good too.

pringletot: You were banned because you're 15 and in clear violation of the terms of service of IIN. You must be 18 to use the site. It's very clear and simple.

dot123: All new submissions to IIN are now moderated and we use our best judgment to decide which stories are interesting, appropriate and on topic. Clearly fake posts, posts that are very poorly written and posts that are simply off topic will all be rejected. We're trying to cultivate an atmosphere of productive, interesting dialog. There are also a ton of older submissions that may be off topic that our very limited staff is slowly working to moderate as well.

Also age shouldn't matter in the first place. The original pringletot, on the main site, lasted a while without getting banned and what difference had been made from my first post to the one that got me banned? I mentioned my age, it didn't change who I am, I didn't suddenly change how I wrote, my comments and stories didn't get worse (ok my last few stories from the last 2 accounts have been but that was just to see if you'd ban me again :)) all that changed was I said I was 15. There are worse stuff that can happen in this world than someone that is 3 years underage coming on here, so why does it matter? I like this site and it has helped me with some absolutely major problems so why can't I stay here?

I read Nearly's comment, ( http://isitnormal.com/story/23440/#comment-255903 ) I know this comments was some months ago but I just read it, about underage members and he said how he didn't want to have to watch what he says, in case they get prosecuted. Well the thing is you don't have to if there are some 13 yr olds here that don't like the comments here then they can just fuck off and the older members, or even the younger members, shouldn't need to watch what they say because someone might take offense, or they can't handle some of the more adult comments, thing is if you don't like a story or comment, no matter what age you are, no one is forcing you to read it and you can just leave at any time, make it clear that they shoudln't be here if they cannot handle any comment that might be thrown at them. Plus no one here is really going to run crying to their mummy's because someone said something bad, no matter what age they are, in fact my parents don't even know this site exists and if they find out it's here then I am fucked.

You should advise underage people to not come here but I don't think you should force them to leave. Just say you, or any members on this site, can be prosecuted for what they say, and if you are under 18 and cannot handle all the comments on this site then you shouldn't have been here in the first place. Ok not those exact words but something along those general lines. Can you even say that the members on your site are not to be held accountable for what they say here? or can you only say you are not held responsible for what members of your site say?

There are some people here that are over 18 and seem to be less capable of handling some comments than some of the underaged members, mellisacooperson just kinda flipped out after a bit after we tried to give her some advice ( http://isitnormal.com/story/24523/ ) and then just spammed the same message across several stories ( http://isitnormal.com/story/24470/#comment-268040 ) so it is not just the underage people that cannot handle some of the more "adult" talks it is some of the adults too, so why force the kids out for not being old enough to hear that stuff when some adults are clearly not ready to read the same thing?

I dont see that there are many stories that could be off topic here. What is this a literary contest. Of course the story is fake but its meant to create discussion and keep the site going. Most stories here are fake. Although the second one was commented on before submission you could have allowed it through and removed the comments or ignored them. Maybe you should get someone with a more open mind to do your moderation for you.

This forum is a perfect place for the kind of things you all are trying to post to the main site. Keep it here and everyone's happy.

I see you completely ignored my thing about underaged people should be allowed to come here, putting up you have to be 18 doesn't even stop anyone so you won't see much of a difference anyway, and if they are acting like 10 yr olds then you can ban them even if they are over 18, make how they act the basis on banning not how long they have been alive, there are people that act worse than me and are still here.

and you accepted an obviously fake story called "I think in french" and it was like "I dictated this to my dog to write, but the problem is he thinks in spanish and can't type very fast" and "I think this way so the government, my parents, or my parents working for the government cant read my mind" why did you accept that story but not my other ones, in fact i think the NAMGLA one would be better on the main site than the "i think in french" one
