Grocery Store Year 3000 - Future Groceries
Having a grocery store run by robots may not always be as safe, or efficient as it seems!
Dr. Tran is the owner of the Future Grocery store. Jim, Fred, and Jack are his assistants, who are people. They help Dr. Tran with the computer systems. They make sure that all of the components are in order for the robots.
On one rainy Tuesday, one of the robots started to act oddly. He started throwing around groceries and bugging customers. The assistants of Dr. Tran came in and tried to fix him, with no luck.
Before long the other robots also started acting up, causing fear and chaos in the store. Some customers ran out while some stayed behind to try to help out. The customers that stayed were in the hover shopping carts for protection.
The assistants called in Dr. Tran, who feared that this would one day happen.
A fear that people could get hurt, because these robots were of artificial intelligence.
Dr. Trans solution was to create even more advanced robots to destroy the old ones. Even though he still had the fear of it happening again with creating stronger and smarter robots.
Being known for creating a robot run store, is more important than what is sure to happen again.
