it should tell us when we have a reply to a comment
also instead of emailing us when we get a comment to our story/comment it should tell us in the website instead of having to check our email

no it doesn't, it emails us when someone comments our story, not when someone comments our comment

But I do like being notified by email because sometimes I don't visit the main site often (days, weeks, months). So receiving an email really helps. Would it be possible to receive private messages (PM) through the main site just like through the forum? Sometimes I would like to PM somebody on the main site. Either the author of a story or somebody who made a comment in another person's story. Basically anybody who would like to receive PMs. Thanks.
