Topic: Manage Notifications

If you look right underneath the first post in a topic, you'll see a light blue link on the right side that says "Track".

Is there a place that lists the topics that we're following?

I tried to track the Story Moderation topic at http://forum.isitnormal.com/2008/08/06/story-moderation/ but the Track link doesn't work. Usually it changes to Untrack after clicking on it.

After clicking on Track at Hello World http://forum.isitnormal.com/2008/08/05/hello-world-2/, it changes to Untrack. When I click on Untrack, it doesn't change back to Track. After pressing F5 to refresh the page, it changes back to Track whether or not I clicked on the Untrack button beforehand. So how will we know which topics we're following if they don't have Untrack next to them after logging out and then returning to the forums? After logging out, refreshing the page, or going to another page, all Untrack links change back to Track links. I think having a list that shows the topics that we're tracking would be nice. Thanks!

Now the Track button for the Hello World topic at http://forum.isitnormal.com/2008/08/05/hello-world-2/ doesn't work. It doesn't change from Track to Untrack.

That's really weird. Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.

Your best bet is to ask the Lefora folks what's up at the help forum:

I don't think there's a place where you can keep track of all the things you're tracking, but there should be. I'll suggest it to the Lefora folks and you could maybe suggest it too.

Also, you can use the RSS feeds to keep track of things.

According to this post http://support.lefora.com/2008/04/10/how-do-i-subscribe-threads/#post88786 "If you want to 'track' a topic across multiple forums, you can click 'track' at the top of the topic. This will put it on your dashboard, which at the moment we're still adding features to, but we're not promoting. However, you can get to your dashboard by clicking 'Edit Your Profile', then clicking the dashboard tab. This will have a listing of all topics you're tracking across all forums you are a member of."

Where is the dashboard tab located? I didn't see it on the "Edit Your Profile" page. The only tabs that I can see are Edit Your Profile, Manage Notifications, Manage Forums, and Change Password none of which have a listing of the topics that I'm tracking or the dashboard tab. If we could click on the dashboard tab, then we can see a list of the topics that we're tracking. Thanks!

Sounds like they're still working on this dashboard and it's not really there to be used yet. That post was a few months ago and things must have changed since then. I guess we'll just have to do without it for now, but it sounds like the Lefora guys are indeed working on it.
